Integrations

Your scripts and services keep working

A Zendesk-compatible API at /zd/api/v2 means your own scripts and services keep running after a base URL change. A modern REST API with OpenAPI docs, signed webhooks and sidebar apps cover the rest.

Animated demo of the ChaosDesk API and marketplace: a curl request to the Zendesk-compatible tickets endpoint creates a ticket and returns 201 Created, then the Shopify app is installed from the marketplace into the ticket sidebar.

Integrations

What you get

The same API by changing the address, signed webhooks, sidebar apps and your own customer data in every ticket.

  • Zendesk-compatible API

Tickets, users, organizations, search, uploads and incremental exports at /zd/api/v2, with the same request and response shapes.

  • REST API with OpenAPI

Cursor pagination, rate-limit headers and a complete reference.

  • Signed webhooks

HMAC signatures, retries with backoff and a delivery log, with Zendesk-shaped bodies.

  • Apps and marketplace

Sidebar apps compatible with the Zendesk App Framework, a marketplace, and built-in Slack, Jira, Linear, GitHub, Shopify and HubSpot.

  • Customer data connector

Show profile fields, lists and alerts from your own systems in the ticket panel.

  • Honest limits

Third-party integrations hard-wired to *.zendesk.com, such as the Zendesk app for Zapier, need their ChaosDesk equivalent.

Coming from Zendesk?

Change the base URL and the API token in your own code. Marketplace apps tied to zendesk.com are replaced one by one.

How switching works

Bring your whole Zendesk history. Keep your way of working.

Import tickets, users, rules and the help centre, run both side by side, and switch when your team is ready.

Send us a line from your work address and we will add you to the early access list.
