Export your data
The ways to get your tickets, reports, customer data and logs out of ChaosDesk.
Your data is yours. These are the ways to take it out of ChaosDesk.
| What | How | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Tickets in a view | CSV file | Export a view to CSV |
| Report data | CSV file | Export CSV on a report or dashboard tile |
| Scheduled report data | CSV by email | Schedule a report |
| Everything about one customer | JSON file | Handle a GDPR request |
| All tickets, users and organizations | REST API, with cursor pagination for full exports | API reference |
| Admin audit log and access log | CSV or JSON lines (Enterprise, beta) | Review the audit log |
Full exports with the API
For a complete copy of your tickets, use GET /api/tickets with cursor pagination. It stays consistent while new tickets arrive. The Zendesk-compatible API also offers incremental exports, so tools built for Zendesk exports work too. See Rate limits and pagination.
Leaving ChaosDesk
Before you cancel, export what you need with the options above. See Cancel your subscription or delete your workspace.
